My story

I am the founder of Pigment Caché, a Moroccan artist from Boujad, now based in France.

Since childhood, creating has been my language. I spent hours drawing, imagining shapes, landscapes and compositions inspired by the heritage and traditions of the Maghreb. Early on, I discovered that an artwork could go beyond its aesthetic dimension and become a silent language, able to convey an emotion, preserve a memory and tell a story.

Along the way, I explored different worlds, from biology to marketing, by way of photography and design. Yet art has always remained the common thread of my path. With Pigment Caché, I chose to return to that certainty and build an artistic world in which every piece is born of an idea, an emotion, a memory, a reflection or a story that I turn into matter.

My practice explores the dialogue between cultural heritage, geometric forms and Moroccan architecture, which I reinterpret in a contemporary visual language. Through pigments, acrylic, pointillism and textures sculpted with modeling paste, I work matter and colour to create compositions where memory and modernity meet. My painting is also a space to express human relationships and emotions, where the bonds, tensions and sensitivities that run through us take shape. Between cultural references and emotional exploration, my work invites a personal reading of identity, memory and human experience.

Every artwork is an original creation, born of a story, an emotion and a creative process carried out entirely by hand.

My aim is not to depict the world as it appears, but to make visible what remains invisible: an emotion, a memory, a thought or a fragment of a story that everyone is free to make their own. It is in this space between matter, light and imagination that the world of Pigment Caché.

I do not paint what I see. I sculpt what I remember feeling.
