The story of the artwork
“Tapis Berbère”
“Tapis Berbère” pays tribute to the heritage of Amazigh weaving and the richness of Moroccan culture. Inspired by traditional rugs, this artwork revisits their iconic motifs through a contemporary approach in which colour, texture and relief interact. The gradients of yellow, orange and brown evoke the warmth of the desert, the light of the setting sun and the landscapes of Morocco.
With this composition, I am not only trying to depict a rug, but to reveal what it stands for: memory, transmission and ancestral craftsmanship. The Amazigh motifs, made in 3D acrylic, along with the felt-pen details and the pompoms built into the artwork, create a dimension that is both visual and tactile, inviting the eye to explore every detail and everyone to build their own interpretation of the artwork.
Living with the artwork
In your home
At 70 × 50 cm (27.6 × 19.7 in), “Tapis Berbère” brings the warmth of the desert to a living room, dining room or bedroom. Its yellows, oranges and browns sit well with wood, linen, terracotta and natural-toned interiors, and they warm up a white or grey wall too.
The raised patterns, the marker details and the pompoms invite you to come closer: this artwork loves places where people pass near it. Side light brings out the volumes. Hang the centre about 145 cm (57 in) from the floor, or slightly lower above a sofa. Try it on your wall with “See it in your home”.

Questions about this artwork
Where do the patterns come from?
They draw on the geometric language of Amazigh rugs, handed down through generations of Moroccan weavers. The artwork reinterprets them in relief, with 3D acrylic, turning them into a memory you can almost touch.
How do I care for an artwork with pompoms?
Dust it gently with a soft, dry brush, without moisture or cleaning products, and keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades colours over time.
How is the artwork delivered?
It is carefully wrapped and protected for transport, with its signed certificate of authenticity. Delivery is free within France; for international orders, the cost is confirmed with you before shipping. Allow about 2 days for delivery within Europe and 7 days elsewhere in the world.
