The story of the artwork
“Union”
“Union” explores the deep relationship between the masculine and the feminine through two abstract compositions in dialogue. The painting in shades of blue represents the man, his depth, his stability and his inner strength. The one in yellow, orange and red tones embodies the woman, her light, her warmth and her life energy. Each of the two works carries a trace of the other’s colour, a reminder that every relationship leaves a mutual imprint.
At the heart of the diptych, a black bridge links the two compositions. More than a simple graphic element, it symbolises the invisible bond between two people, the space where their differences, emotions and strengths meet. With this artwork, I celebrate the balance that comes from complementarity, a reminder that the beauty of a relationship lies not in perfection, but in each person’s ability to bring out the best in the other.
