The story of the artwork
“Union”
“Union” explores the deep relationship between the masculine and the feminine through two abstract compositions in dialogue. The painting in shades of blue represents the man, his depth, his stability and his inner strength. The one in yellow, orange and red tones embodies the woman, her light, her warmth and her life energy. Each of the two works carries a trace of the other’s colour, a reminder that every relationship leaves a mutual imprint.
At the heart of the diptych, a black bridge links the two compositions. More than a simple graphic element, it symbolises the invisible bond between two people, the space where their differences, emotions and strengths meet. With this artwork, I celebrate the balance that comes from complementarity, a reminder that the beauty of a relationship lies not in perfection, but in each person’s ability to bring out the best in the other.

“Union” brings together two canvases, 50 × 40 cm and 40 × 30 cm (19.7 × 15.7 in and 15.7 × 11.8 in): a pair to hang side by side above a sofa, a bed or a console, wherever two people share their life. The blue and the warm tones answer each other and balance a room in neutral colours.
The black bridge linking the two compositions reads best when the canvases are aligned along their top edges or their centres, a few centimetres apart. Allow about 1.5 m (5 ft) of distance. “See it in your home” lets you test the gap and height on your own wall.

Questions about this artwork
How should the two canvases be arranged?
Side by side, the larger blue canvas next to the smaller warm-toned one, a few centimetres apart so the black bridge carries from one to the other. Aligning their centres gives a calm reading; aligning their top edges, a more architectural line.
Are the two canvases sold separately?
No. “Union” is about the bond between two people: the two canvases form one artwork, delivered with a signed certificate of authenticity.
